How do I count the number of panes of glass to be cleaned?
A window pane is simply a single piece of continuous glass. If you can run your finger across the glass from the top corner to the opposite bottom corner without stopping or crossing a ridge, it is one pane of glass. This rule applies to any glass, no matter how large or small. But sometimes the panes are very large and sometimes they are too small, so we use our benchmark to count the number of panes.
